Fiorentino Perez, prezes Realu Madryt, dzisiaj o 19:30 poinformował na Santiago Bernabeu, że Rafa Benitez nie jest już trenerem Realu! Oficjalnie, jego następcą będzie Zinedine Zidane. Dotychczas Rafa zanotował 17 zwycięstw, 3 porażki oraz 5 remisów. Hiszpan pełnił rolę trenera 215 dni.
